剧情:

　　Maria Eugenia Sampedro (Mariu) by mistake is caught up in the murder of Coralia Galvez, Emiliano Galvez's (Carlos Montilla) beloved wife. In a story of obsessive persecution, frustration, passion and desire, Mariu will fall in love with Emiliano, her prosecutor. She must choose between keeping the love of her life through silence or loosing him by revealing her true identity.

　　玛丽欧是个美丽、活泼、性格刚烈的女孩子。但生活的艰难使她不得不常常与富人斗争。此时母亲由于失业，心情沉重而犯了哮喘病。玛丽欧的弟弟和妹妹一筹莫展，一家的重担都压在了玛丽欧的身上。
　　故事就发生在两个人之间。
